Cells, Tissues, Organs and Organ Systems Jigsaw

This activity includes two documents: A graphic organizer for students to record their learning and a document with all of the information for each category.

Number students off 1-4 and assign each number a different category (example: 1 = cells).

Have students learn about their topic and record their understanding in the organizer. Next, have all students with the same category form a group and share their understanding. Have them plan a brief presentation on their category.

Have each group share with the whole class about their category and have students who are listening record their learning for each category in their organizer.
